Michael Roybal, President

Michael has over 15 years of experience advising companies on international trade matters. His extensive experience ranges from counseling global clients on international trade compliance to providing strategic planning advice regarding international trade law. Michael has also managed compliance reviews and audits as well as conducted training for trade operations.

Before forming RoybalGlobal P.C., Michael Roybal was a Senior Manager in Ernst & Young LLP's Customs and International Trade Practice. Prior to that, Michael was a Customs & International Trade Attorney with the international law firm of Baker & McKenzie as well as the customs & international trade law firm of Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg P.C. Prior to entering private practice, Michael was a judicial law clerk to the Honorable R. Kenton Musgrave at the U.S. Court of International Trade.

Michael has written several articles on import and export-related topics that have appeared in national as well as local publications. He is a member of the Customs and International Trade Bar Association and the National Cargo Security Council.
