Dennis Schultz has more than ten years assisting multinational companies with international trade, customs, and export matters, such as regulatory compliance, valuation and classification issues, country of origin verification, marking rules, and recordkeeping requirements. He has represented industries including, consumer, electronic, automotive, chemical, medical, and textile and apparel goods.

Dennis has developed import and export compliance procedures and manuals, classification aids, reconciliation processes, duty saving opportunities, and import data analyses and reports. He has prepared and submitted cost submissions, prior disclosures, protests and binding ruling requests. Dennis has conducted import and export compliance reviews, Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism and Importer Self-Assessment reviews for enrollment, and training on the topics of NAFTA, classification, and import and export compliance.

Dennis has extensive experience regarding numerous special trade programs, e.g., Generalized System of Preferences, Caribbean Basin Initiative, NAFTA, etc., as well as the preferential tariff provisions under subheadings 9801 and 9802 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States. He was formerly a customs consultant for two Big-Four accounting firms and a senior analyst for a major customs consulting firm. He is also a Licensed Customs Broker.
